About Drung No 2 National School
Drung (No. 2) Central National School is a co-educational, Church of Ireland school located along the main Cavan to Cootehill road
in the village of Drung. Drung( No. 2) Central N.S. serves a large catchment area which includes Drung, Ballyhasie, Laragh, Lavey and Killoughter.
Drung (No. 2) Central N.S. is a two teacher school with a current enrolment of 29 children. Junior Infants, Senior Infants,
1st and 2nd class are taught by Mrs. Smith in the junior classroom. 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class are taught by Ms. Gould in the senior classroom.
The school also has a Learning Support teacher, a Resource teacher and a Special Needs Assistant.
Our dedicated staff also includes a part-time secretary, caretaker and cleaner.
